Take a moment of silence at 11 to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, and also remember those who came home. Go to a ceremony if you can. Use it as a reminder of how good we have it and that we should always be excellent to each other to prevent this kind of calamity from happening again.

That song seems more appropriate for M emorial D ay. Veterans D ay is for the living who’ve served, Memorial D ay for those who have passed.

My mind tends to thing US-centric as here it’s Veteran’s day and I’ve been enlisted for 15 years. Still no excuse.
